Welcome to Chelsea High School!

We are excited to welcome our Class of 2030 to Chelsea High School! All incoming ninth-grade students are required to attend our Mandatory Freshman Orientation on Thursday, August 13, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at CHS.

Orientation is designed to help students feel prepared, confident, and connected as they begin their time at CHS. Throughout the day, students will meet staff, explore the building, receive important information, and get ready for a successful freshman year.

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Chelsea High SchoolAttendance is mandatory for all incoming freshmen.

What Students Can Expect

During orientation, students will:

  • Receive their Chromebook
  • Learn about classroom expectations
  • Take a tour of Chelsea High School
  • Receive their class schedule and lunch information
  • Learn about important school policies and safety procedures
  • Participate in fun activities, including music, games, and more

Information for Parents & Caregivers

Parents and caregivers are welcome to stop by during orientation to meet members of our Family Liaison team. Family Liaisons will be available throughout the event to answer questions, provide information, and help families connect with school resources.
