Circulating Materials:
Students are encouraged to borrow books from the library for class work or for personal enjoyment. Up to three (3) books may be checked out for three weeks with the option of renewing the books for another three weeks if no one has requested them. Students with overdue books will not be allowed to sign out additional books until the outstanding books are returned to the Library Media Center. If a book is lost or damaged, the patron is responsible to pay the replacement cost of the material.

The staff of Williams Middle School Library strives to maintain current selections of print materials and up-to-date personal choice reading and curriculum support materials. Collection development is an on-going process at the library media center. Teacher input is highly valued during this process; teachers are asked to present their recommendations for new library materials to the library staff.
