Metro Credit Union Scholarship Program - This program is available for Seniors. Students are required to take the Money and Banking course and complete an internship as a teller in Metro's Chelsea High School Branch. Students who complete this program are eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship. For more information please see .

National Hispanic College Fair - Juniors and Seniors, there will be a National Hispanic College Fair at Regis College on Wednesday, November 12th. There are a limited number of seats, 135, and sign up will be in the Guidance Office and at lunch. Signed permission sheets need to be returned to Guidance by lunch on Friday, November 7th.

Toyota Community Scholars - Toyota is offering several renewal scholarships to selected nominees. Candidates should have an outstanding academic record, an effective leadership record, and a well-documented record of service. Seeking out scholarships is worth the effort!

Scholarships are forms of aid that help students pay for their education. Unlike student loans, scholarships do not have to be repaid. Hundreds of thousands of scholarships and fellowships from several thousand sources are awarded each year.

Scholarships are often reserved for students with special qualifications, such as academic, athletic or artistic talent. Awards are also available for students who are interested in particular fields of study, who are members of underrepresented groups, who live in certain areas of the country or who demonstrate financial need.

With the rising cost of a college education, it behooves students and parents to seek out as much financial assistance as possible. Many scholarships go unclaimed each year, so there is no excuse for not pursuing available scholarships. See your guidance counselor for more information and check our bulletins for helpful suggestions.
